As my AP EURO class was discussing about Hurricane Katrina, I felt so helpless that I personally could not help. I wanted to catch the next flight to New Orleans and hand out bottles of water and food. Because there was no reality in my initial idea, I felt even more helpless every time I got to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Everytime I went to reach for a water bottle in my garage, I felt extremely selfish and spoiled. While I have five bottles of water just sitting on my desk, there are people in Louisiana who haven't even had the pleasure of holding one water bottle. Having said this, I decided to make shirts that will help fundraise for Hurricane Katrina. Each t-shirt will be 20 dollars, and ALL proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. If you are interested, please communicate with me so I can get an idea of how many shirts and what sizes I should buy. front:
